Car production line to be launched in Iraq by Iran Khodro Company

Iran Khodro Company, the larest car making company of Iran declared that it will launch a production line with a capacity of 30,000 units in the Iraqi city of Iskandariya by next month.
Mr Abdolazim Sadian, IKCO's deputy CEO for export and international affairs said that it was 3 years ago, when the preliminary agreements were reached. The final contract has been formed between involving IKCO, an Iraqi company and Iraq Ministry of Industry.
The plant is expected to focus on IKCO brands like Samand and Runna, as reported by the media sources. IKCO has been exporting its Roa, Peugeot 405, Peugeot Pars and Samand to Iraq for about a decade. IKCO now intends to dispatch Runna to this country and follow it up by Dena in the near future.
The deputy CEO of the company stated that Iraqis adore the cars of IKCO for their exceptional quality and great design. The new production plant will be the part of the expansion plan of the company in this part of the world.
The company assures quality products, feasible budget options and great after sell services. It has acquired quite a good target market in the country and will continue to do so. The cars are able to function at temperatures above 50 and below 30 degrees centigrade, which make them suitable for different countries with different climatic conditions. It has to be noted that Iraq is one of the important target market base for IKCO. 40 percent of its global sale is based on Iraq.
