2nd largest bridge to be opened in Iraq’s Missan province

Minister of Reconstruction and Housing Tariq al-Khikani gave instructions to end Missan Bridge by the end of this year.
During his field visit to the province, he pointed out that this Dafas Bridge is one of the strategic projects for southern provinces and Missan province, in particular, because it will facilitate the traffic movement towards the southern parts of the country.
In addition to round route, the bridge comprises of two lanes, with the length of 450 meters each.
The authorities stated that the actual implementation of the bridge reached to 92%, which shall be connected with the international highway no. 6.
