DHL Iraq crowned as best employer organization in Iraq

DHL Iraq, a logistic company, has clinched 1st rank amongst top 10 best employer organizations in the region, according to a study by Aon Hewitt.
DHL Iraq was followed by DHL Kuwait, Procter and Gamble Egypt, DHL Lebanon, DHL UAE, Marriott International UAE, Intel Corporation Middle East, Westcon Middle East, DHL Jordan and Azizia Panda United Saudi Arabia.
The study revealed that DHL Iraq has performed well in terms of employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, branding, business performance, talent management effectiveness and diversity and inclusion.
According to the Best Employers study, the organizations have been engaging the intellectual and emotional commitment of their employees through best-in-class people management practices, which has been translated to having high levels of employee engagement, a compelling employer brand, effective leadership and a high performance culture, bringing a dedicated and productive workforce.
Samir Mardini, head of talent management consulting at Aon Hewitt Middle East, mentioned via statement, “We have analyzed that all employers in the region are confronted with similar set of economic scenarios and people challenges, yet only a few are retaining focus on engaging their employees.”
The study was conducted in 12 countries in the Middle East and Africa and had the participation of 88 organizations from a range of sectors, ownership structures, size and number of years of business operations.
