Gazprom Neft, a Russian oil and gas company, has commissioned its 10th production well (P-07) at the Badra oil field of Iraq.
The present production volume of this new well is around 6527 barrels per day. According to reports, commission will allow the production of this well to observe a steep high of 67,000 barrels per day.
Early to this year, three other wells were also commissioned at the field, collectively producing around 24,000 barrels per day. Drilling of four further wells — P-10, BD-2, P-14 and P-19 — is currently ongoing, and the construction process is expected to be completed in the year of 2017.
