Russia confirms its support for Iraq to counter terrorism

While meeting with the President, Fuad Masoum, Russian Ambassador or Iraq assured his country's support to Iraq's war against terrorism and its rebuilding process at all institutions.
A statement from President’s office, revealed, "Masoum welcomed on Sunday the Russian Ambassador for Iraq where they discussed enhancing the bilateral relations between Iraq and Russia.“
The statement further added, "The president emphasized Iraq's desire to expand the framework of cooperation with Russia to nurture the historical and cultural ties between both countries."
