An activist safety for-all and the only operative force of the ICDL certification program throughout the GCC and Iraq, ICDL GCC Foundation has recently declared its joint venture with CWI Summits for the inaugural Iraq Education & Technology Summit 2013 (IETS). The ceremony will occur in Dubai, from 23rd to 24th Feb, 2013.
High ranking Iraqi government officials are expected join the summit. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ali Al Adeeb will also join the summit, with a motto to provide positive thrust to the development of Iraqi educational system. UNESCO Iraq, US Department of State and the US Embassy in Baghdad – are the other leading organizations to join this summit.
A unique format of discussion will be held into the summit. Private one-to-one meeting between the government officials and international delegates will be held, along with that plenty of networking opportunities are present. The aim of the summit is the development of Iraq, brining immense growth in the field of education through private and public partnership.
Hyatt Regency Hotel, Deira, Dubai will be the hosting place of the summit meet. The International Computer Driving License (ICDL) concept is a global literacy initiative which is working with an aim to provide knowledge in the sector of IT or Information Technology and computer. Generating mass awareness in common and personal computer applications will be the motto of the company.
The ICDL GCC Foundation is the sole body to implement programs across GCC states and Iraq. The organization also got the support from the leading computer educational institution.
